Olioo started during a trip to Sicily where we stumbled across something truly special at a local restaurant one evening.
On the tables, they had gorgeous bottles of flavoured olive oil - chilli, garlic, lemon, orange, basil, rosemary, thyme - which was shortly being drizzled all over our breads, share plates and mains. Bold, smooth and addictive, it was like nothing we’d tasted before. We had to bring it to Australia.
Frantoi Berretta, a family-run olive mill nestled among the ancient groves of southeastern Sicily, has been making the oil since 1905. Now, we work hand-in-hand with the Berretta famiglia to bring their award-winning oils straight from the groves of Chiaramonte Gulfi to your pantry. Cold-pressed, unfiltered, and packed with flavour so bold it deserves its own passport.
At Olioo, we don’t just sell olive oil, we celebrate it. Because good olive oil doesn’t just finish a dish. It starts conversations, sparks joy, and transports you to a little Sicilian village with every drizzle.
