Spicy Pepperoni Pizza

Spicy Pepperoni Pizza

  • Serves 2

  • 10 Minutes

Ingredients

• 1 ball of pizza dough (homemade or store-bought—we won’t judge… much)
• 2–3 tablespoons red pizza sauce or passata
• 100g fresh mozzarella, torn into bite-sized blobs
• 60–80g spicy pepperoni, thinly sliced
• Fresh Parmigiano Reggiano, shaved (as much as your heart desires)
• Olioo Chilli Olive Oil, to finish
• Flaky sea salt, to finish
• Optional: fresh basil leaves, black pepper, lemon zest (for a final twist)

Forget basic, this is pizza with personality. Melty mozzarella, crispy little cups of curled-up pepperoni, all tied together with Olioo Chilli Olive Oil

How to make it:

1. Stretch & set the stage:

Stretch your dough with love (and a little flair). You want those rustic edges that scream handmade with heart.

2. Lay the foundations:

Spread your red pizza sauce with the back of a spoon, leaving a small edge. Dot on torn fresh mozzarella.

3. Pepperoni perfection:

Lay down your pepperoni slices and don't worry if there's a little bit of overlap.

4. Oven time:

Place into a preheated oven (220°C or pizza-oven blistering). Bake until the crust is golden, the mozzarella is bubbly, and the edges of the pepperoni are getting crispy and curly.

5. Finish with flair

Fresh out the oven, go in with those Parmigiano Reggiano shavings, a fierce drizzle of Olioo Chilli Olive Oil, flakey sea salt and any of your optional extras - torn fresh basil, freshly cracked black pepper or a flick of lemon zest.

Best served hot and with a glass of something red.
